The W-FOIL has been developed by applying aerospace industry solutions from fighter jets to marine hydrofoils.

The anhedral W-Foil configuration is designed for high agility and responsive control. Rather than relying on passive stability, it is paired with a fly-by-wire system that actively manages flight in real time.

This approach allows the platform to deliver both stability and precision. At lower control settings, the system maintains smooth, predictable flight.

The WAVEDRIVE integrates cylindrical drive pods at the extremities of the hydrofoil. This configuration maximises lift efficiency across a span-limited structure and shifts the centre of lift outward, increasing available roll torque.

With the foils fully retracted at the touch of a button, the WAVEDRIVE transitions to a conventional hull configuration.

In this mode, two independent drive pods positioned at the maximum beam provide precise low-speed control, including the ability to rotate on its axis.

This enables straightforward docking, close-quarters manoeuvring, and trailer loading, while also allowing the craft to be beached, stored on racks, and operated in shallower waters.
